Le
Clos des Suds is a small family-run
vineyard that is firmly grounded in the traditions of yesteryear,
operating
with a deep respect for nature while employing modern techniques where
applicable to maximize the distinctive taste of our special wines.
Nestled on 7,5 hectares of preserved land, the vineyard sits
comfortably surrounded by ‘La
Garrigue’ in a very wild, natural environment and is uniquely
located at the
heart of an exceptional site. Le Clos des Suds is on the foothills of
the
Massif Central (Black Mountain) at the crossroads of the St Chinian, St
Jean de
Minervois, and Minervois appellations. The vines are located in the
latter
appellation at an altitude of between 200 and 250 meters.
